Location data: Used to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. This data is processed on-device and is not stored on our servers.
Account information: When you create an account — using Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or email and password registration — we collect your name and email address to manage your account and question quota. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email" option, we only receive Apple's private relay address.
Content you provide: The questions you type and any photos you attach (from your camera or gallery) are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Photos are used only to answer your question and are not stored on our servers.
Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics data (via Firebase Analytics) to improve the app experience.
Device information: Standard device identifiers for push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide prayer times and Qibla direction based on your location.
To answer your questions — including any photos you attach — through AI services.
To manage your daily free question quota and premium features.
To send optional push notifications about prayer times and Islamic reminders (only with your permission).
To improve app performance and fix bugs.

3. Third-Party Services

Furkan AI uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase – Authentication, Firestore database, Analytics, Cloud Messaging
Google Gemini / Firebase AI – AI-powered question answering. The text of your questions and any photos you attach are sent to Google's AI servers for processing.
Google AdMob – Optional rewarded advertisements
Firebase Authentication – Account sign-in via Google Sign-In or email and password

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at defnegames@gmail.com.

5. Children's Privacy

Furkan AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
